This beautiful property sits on the banks of the Fourche La Fave (pronounced Foosh La Fay)  River. This 151 mile long river was once the grounds of the Caddo Native American Tribe. The river is now home to a wide variety of wildlife, and offers multiple species of fish. Scott County is over 70% public national forest, with thousands of acres of public land available for the outdoor enthusiast. Though this property has the look and feel of woods and river camping, there is actually a 24 hour convenience store less than two miles away just in case you need a midnight snack!    Learn more about this land: Beautiful flowing river for swimming, fishing, canoeing. Nice open air pavilion with power,  LED lighting and a large picnic table. Firepit with added grill for cooking right at the rivers edge.  Dedicated hammocking area overlooking the river, or have some friendly competition with a game of Bag-O game (boards provided).  This area offers a wide open space for exercising, walking/bike riding along a country road, or just relaxing by riverbank.  Want a little more adventure? This area boasts an expansive network of country dirt roads and trails for your ATV/UTV, and is less than five miles from the Ouachita National Forests' Fourche Mountain Trail. All this but still close to civilization. A 24 hour convenience store is less than two miles from the campsite. This quaint little spot has a lot to offer!  Beautiful flowing river for swimming, fishing, canoeing. Nice open air pavilion with power,  LED lighting and a large picnic table. Yearling Ridge Riverfront Camp
Peaceful, serene, beautiful…
Lemme tell ya… we wished we could have stayed longer. Daniel’s beautiful, serene property is perfect and we absolutely will be returning in the future! We kayaked, swam, explored the vast area, cooked over a fire and were lulled to sleep at night by the gentle sound of the river stream. This stay was truly healing and restorative. The pavilion with string lights, a sink area, a fridge and picnic table was luxury, as we are primitive campers. Daniel came to check on us and ensured our firewood was kept stocked, he was very kind and informative about the surrounding area and made us feel welcome and safe. This riverside campsite was very private and secluded. If you’re interested, just go ahead and do yourself a favor and reserve your spot now! Thanks so much for the hospitality and sharing your divine land with us, Daniel! Looking forward to our next adventure here :)

Great find!!!!
What a great find and easy to get to! And great for dogs! Lots of grassy areas and woods and things to explore with them. The mini fridge and electrical outlet was a great bonus! And the sink has water running to it for easy dish washing. The string lights attracted an insane amount of bugs so it was actually nice to turn them on and then head down to the hammock where you had the glow of the lights and no bugs 😆 Daniel and his wife are amazing! They popped in to check on us and brought us some coal and a few extra items. The campsite is private but you can see 2 small cabin type houses up the road so we still needed to be cognizant when changing clothes, showering, etc. We found the water a little difficult to swim in from the shore because of the rocks and the water moves a bit fast. Next time we come we want to bring and raft or tube and tie it to one of the trees and just float out in the water. The beauty of the river and the sound of the water rushing over the rocks was my absolute favorite part of this camp site! You can hang your hammock right by the river. 10 min drive from the campsite is a great little health food store and restaurant with great lattes that is open until 12pm. There is a gas station next door to that but other than that you will need to drive to the next town if you need anything. We wish we could have stayed longer and we will 100% be back there one day!

Yearling Ridge Riverfront Camp
We had not tent camped in quite sometime. A decade or more. Daniel's place checked all of our boxes and was the perfect place for us to get back into camping. Daniel is an awesome host, met us shortly after our arrival and made sure we had plenty of firewood then he left us to enjoy his wonderful place. His property is beautiful, private and has a park like feel by having well mowed areas with natural edges. Our old dog had the best time exploring and it was easy to keep an eye on her. It is truly riverside and the sound of the rushing water was incredibly peaceful. Star gazing was amazing, we heard owls every night and saw many blue birds by day. The lighted pavilion with picnic table was a great place to make meals and having electricity, a functional sink to do cleanup and the mini fridge is super convenient. It has 3 electrical boxes and water spigots to choose from which is great for wherever you choose to set up camp. We did hear a little bit of highway 71 noise but the sound of the water mostly drowned it out and was quiet in the evenings when traffic slowed. The upside is it is only 2 miles to the 24 hour convenience store on a well maintained gravel road that any type of vehicle could easily travel. We couldn't get android/TMobile connectivity but could with iPhone/Verizon but honestly, the phones weren't missed as we went there to unplug. We loved Daniel's property and are thankful to him for sharing it. We'll return often. Thanks Daniel, see you again soon!

Gorgeous spot next to the river
We were so fortunate to have the opportunity to watch the eclipse from this gorgeous site. We had the entire property to ourselves with plenty of room for our dog to explore. Daniel was an excellent host and there were many touches that made the campsite extra special such as running water and the river close by. We took advantage of the canoe rental and really enjoyed the river. We highly recommend this special spot.

This place was beautiful!! Pictures are nice but really don’t do it justice. We were right on the river. Plenty of room to cook, fish, explore and relax. Daniel was a great host. We hope to come back soon.
