You MUST use the address for navigation. 4729 Schwarzmiller Rd, Lake Stevens. Once you start down the gravel driveway, continue down past the main house, down to the red barn. I'll be there at the red barn then will guide you to your campsite. Ok, so, we're on a total of 30+ acres, with over 1,000 feet of the Pilchuck River running through our property. Your choice of a sandy beach, or a rocky beach, as well as forest land to explore. We often see deer, hawks, bald eagles, blue herons, beavers, as well as other wildlife living on, or roaming through our beautiful land. Feel free to float the river, enjoy a picnic, host a bbq, put in a game of horseshoes, roam, explore, or simply lay in the hammock all day. We're just a few short miles from the falls @ Granite Falls, as well as many local hiking trails. Or, if you prefer the lake, we are just a couple minutes from beautiful Lake Stevens. Of course dogs are welcome, however we ask that you keep them leashed as to avoid potential conflict with other guests or pets. On that note, 5'x5' kennels are available upon request, if you would like, for a small fee. Firewood bundles also available onsite. Lastly - DO NOT use the coordinates that Hipcamp provides. Aurora Camping Magic
Wow, I feel like I will be riding the joy of finding this place for a long time! I stumbled upon Joe's place at the last second Friday night while looking for somewhere we could camp to watch the Aurora, and I am so glad I did! The camp spots are perfect, you are not stacked one after the other like sardines, which has been my number one issue with finding private camping spots on this app or elsewhere. The location is serene and beautiful, and the perfect distance from home for us. Close to plenty of beautiful hiking spots and small town shopping/eats if that's what you want. Most of all, the host, Joe, is genuinely the nicest person I have met in years! He is so dedicated to making his space great and he has a true heart that shows in how he takes care of the land and his guests :) We truly cannot wait to come back and visit! Thank you, Joe! <3

On The Beach, site 2
It was remote, quiet and a perfect camp spot for what I was looking for. Joe was a great host and went out of his way to make me feel welcome.

Great spot for tent camping! Joe is is an awesome host. We purchased firewood with our stay and when he dropped it off he asked if there was anything else we might need. He ended up lending us an extra camping chair and going on a beer run for us. Overall the site is not super private, but it’s spaced out well enough you will have plenty of your own space. We ended up camping on the beach (right out of the private trail to river mentioned in description), as the designated site itself is pretty open and in open view of the path to the outhouse everyone uses. Beach spot was awesome though. This was a great spot to camp. We felt perfectly safe at all times. Everyone else around was friendly. Joe was great. We will be back!
